“Stress” This term was coined by Dr. Hans Selye in the 1930’s, described stress as the state of wear and tear on the body. Today we seem to be bombarded with this word “Stress”. Its implication can be experienced Acutely, Sporadically, Chronically and Environmentally. When we perceive stress to be negative it can play havoc on the mind/body. However, not all stress is bad. Stress is good when confronted with a dangerous situation or threat helping us to respond appropriately.
Many of us go around all day with monkey mind, thinking upwards to 70,000 thousand thoughts a day. Never really being present or mindful in the moment. We seem to worry about what we did or didn’t do, living in the past and or in the future. Each day creating the same experience and silently hoping for a better outcome.
Hypnosis is a tool to help you relax and calm the mind. Its an effective method with dealing with all those run-away thoughts. Helping to reduce the perception of bad stress. In a Hypnosis session you are more open to suggestion. You are always in control of your behavior. The experience is the feeling of being calm, still and at peace.

She is also a member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, the National Guild of Hypnotists Inc. and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.
